Jenny and Pete Hurst welcome you to their website.
Our family run Victorian guest house is the perfect place from which to
explore the beautiful east coast.

The Abacus is conveniently located on the north side, close to the beach,
Peasholm Park, Indoor Swimming Pool, Sealife Centre, Cricket Ground,
Indoor/Outdoor Bowls Centre and North Cliff Golf Club.

Take a walk along the cliffs to Scarborough Castle.

The town centre, railway station, Stephen Joseph Theatre, Casino,
restaurants and bars are 10 minutes walk away.

The south bay beach and attractions are within walking distance or
alternatively a ride on an open top bus is an easier option.

We are idealy placed for easy access to the Yorkshire Moors, steam
railway and areas made famous by T.V. such as Heartbeat, Brideshead
Revisited, All Creatures Great and Small and The Royal.

By car, train or local transport visit the historical city of York or the
local towns of Filey, Bridlington and Whitby.
